Parking in Earlsfield

Most of the roads around Earlsfield are controlled parking, and either parking suspensions or dispensations are required. For larger Removals in Earlsfield a parking suspension is a necessity. The suspension has to be booked 5 working days in advance of the required date. These are booked with Wandsworth council online. For smaller Earlsfield removals, using vans, we can load and unload for short periods on single yellow lines. Otherwise a dispensation would need to be booked, if we are packing and Earlsfield flat moving.

A Little Bit About Earlsfield

Earlsfield is within the London Borough of Wandsworth, London. Earlsfield is probably less well known as its neighbouring areas of Tooting, Clapham, Balham, and Battersea. Earlsfield has good transport links with a local railway station with regular trains to Waterloo, via Clapham Junction, provided by South-West Trains travel zone 3. When the site was sold by the Davis family to the rail company one of the conditions of sale was that the station would be named after their house. Thus the name of that house provided the name of the station, and thence to the suburb. Earlsfield Library has on display a range of historic photographs of the area.

Earlsfield is a very desirable neighbourhood formed mostly of medium sized Victorian terraced houses with varied and amble shops, bars, and restaurants. There are many schools in the area, both primary and secondary.

The River Wandle flows roughly parallel to Garratt Lane and through the rest of Wandsworth.
